apparel

I design apparel that tells a story and expresses attitude and identity. Each piece is crafted to stand out, feel intentional, and be worn again and again. From personal designs to event merch and brand collaborations, my work balances bold visuals with clarity and character.

Weird Hoodie

A resurrection of a beloved, faded tee

My remake leans into embracing my weirdness. The alien character embodies the outsider, crowned with horns and a halo, reflecting one of my core themes: duality. Clean, hand-drawn lines sustain that tension, balancing imperfection with intention.

On the back, the β€œweird” design repeats alongside a rough, handwritten definition: β€œThe state of being different or strange in the greatest way possible.”

This piece reflects how I use character, symbolism, and typography to create designs that feel personal, expressive, and visually distinct.

Better Yourself Shirt

Quote inspiration

Inspired by the line β€œIt’s not about battering yourself. It’s about bettering yourself,” this design transforms a message of self-growth into a visual narrative. I first explored a simple text-based version, then expanded it into a more layered concept.

The front features a minimal dagger-and-diamond symbol that draws the viewer in. On the back, the story unfolds through blackletter headers, serif typography, and traditional tattoo-style hands I illustrated. One hand holds a diamond with grapevines, symbolizing abundance, while the other is wrapped in thorns and pierced by a dagger, representing self-punishment.

Through this piece, I explored how typography, symbolism, and illustration can work together to create designs that feel meaningful, striking, and wearable.

Turkey Trot t-shirt

humorous tee for the holidays

I designed this tee for my first 5K Turkey Trot, aiming for a festive look without relying on traditional imagery. Instead, I leaned into humor and typography to create something playful, bold, and memorable.

The front features broken, β€œchewed” lettering framed by teeth, while the back brings motion to the design with stretched, textured type. Words like β€œrunning,” β€œmeat,” and β€œsweats” interact with movement, texture, and dripping forms to create energy across the composition.

This piece reflects my ability to use typography and concept-driven design to create apparel that stands out and connects with the moment.
